The value comes first. Here's who builds it.
I'm Patrick Kamdem. Organizations hire Systems by Design to get their capacity back, with numbers that prove it. This page is the operator behind those numbers.
The story
I’m Patrick Kamdem. The value I sell is simple: organizations get their capacity back, and they get numbers that prove it. Finance taught me how organizations measure what matters. Information systems taught me how to build the software that moves those numbers. Systems by Design is that pairing, pointed at operations.
The partnerships came from the same approach. With Morgan State University’s Food Resource Center, spreadsheet chaos became a live portal that runs the program. With the Greater Baltimore Urban League, volunteer sign-in sheets became one-click board reporting. Real organizations, real deployments, real people using them today.
When we work together, you get patterns that already survived contact with reality, adapted to your workflows, and your team trained to own them.

How the work gets done
Production first
The fund is graded against the S&P 500 daily, the content engine publishes weekly, and 14+ routines run every morning. Client work is held to the same bar.
Systems that learn
The best automation grades its own results and improves. We build closed loops, not fire-and-forget scripts.
Humans keep the keys
Every outbound action in our systems passes a human approval step. Autonomy earns trust gradually, with a paper trail.
Finance meets systems
Information Systems and Finance double major, CFA Scholar, and certified Equity Researcher. We speak both the operations language and the P&L language.
